Kevin
Thornton has
coached
swimming since
1981 in a wide variety of positions and for an even wider variety of
abilities
from, "Moms and Babes learn to swim" to Olympic Medalists with
everything in between. Kevin is the Head Coach for Greensboro
Swimming
Association and The American Hebrew Academy Swim Team.
Julie
Bernstorf swam 14
years for Lake
Jeanette (started swimming at age 6 before the 6 and under age group
ever
existed), coached 3 years for Lake Jeanette, swam for GCY, GSA, and
Star,
attends and swims for NC State University Swim Club.
Lexie Riggs
swam
with GSA for 10
years, swam with GSO Elks, a graduate of Northwest HS, attends and
swims for
Columbia University.
Meghan
Wright swam with
GSA, swam and
graduated from Greensboro Day School, swam for GSO Elks,
attends Appalachian State University.
Matt
Zimmerman swam with
GSA, currently coaching the senior groups with GSA,
swam with Hamilton Lakes, Swam and Graduate of Brown University, has
